Mediterraneo has been established since 1998. It is extremely popular with local residents, business people and families.
With rustic stone walls and tables spilling out onto the street, Mediterraneo is a picture-postcard local Italian restaurant.
Friendly service with a buzzy atmosphere, for the menu which tends towards modern Italian at reasonable prices, the greatest care is taken by the chef in choosing the freshest ingredients according to season.
With a good choice of Italian wines, many available by the glass, you are able to drink long into the summer evenings and soak up the pavement action.
Booking a table is strongly recommended. No bookings are taken for Saturday lunch. N.B. no booking via email only by telephone.
Essenza and Osteria Basilico are our sisters restaurant are located in the same street, and they are a good alternative if we are full.
